What people drive over for
The chole that changed a mind.
Tandoor Bros cooks the food of Punjab: chickpea chole with puffed bhature, stuffed Amritsari kulcha, tandoori meats and bread slapped onto the wall of the oven. Plus the tangy, crunchy chaat you usually only find on a street stall.
“You haven't tried Chole Bhatura until you taste it here. Mind-blowing taste and flavour. Authentic Punjabi food. Before tasting the Chole at this restaurant, I hated Chole and I used to eat Bhatura with different curry. If I am eating Chole, I will be eating it only at this restaurant.”

Chaat, piled high
Chickpeas, cool yoghurt, green and tamarind chutneys, crunchy sev.
From the clay oven
Naan, roti and kulcha baked to order in the tandoor. Reviewers call the garlic naan hot, fresh and beautifully fluffy.
Punjabi, the real way
Chole bhature, poori chole and Amritsari kulcha. The kind of cooking one reviewer said tasted like the real deal from back home.
Mild to hot, your call
Start with the mild option and work up to the hotter ones. Reviewers rate the portions generous and the menu fairly priced.

Word around Ballarat
“We'll definitely be coming back.”
“Absolutely fantastic food and service! The flavours were authentic, the dishes were fresh, and every meal was cooked to perfection. The chicken tikka, fish and butter chicken and garlic naan were outstanding, and the portions were generous. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. If you're looking for delicious Indian food in Ballarat, I highly recommend Tandoori Bro. We'll definitely be coming back again!”
“I love the idea of a closer Indian food place, we can just drive or walk! We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka, garlic nann bread with plain rice with the mild option, we Definitely will be trying the hotter options tho. Everything was very good, good portions. Definitely be back to try other options. Decent size menu and fairly priced. Highly recommend. 🤤”
“I stopped by the Tandoor Bros food truck recently, and I have to say, I couldn't be more impressed. The team running the truck is incredibly professional, but it's the food that really steals the show. I tried the Amritsari fish, and the level of authenticity was incredible, the perfect crunch and seasoning instantly reminded me of the real-deal flavors from back home. My wife, ordered the chaat papdi and was absolutely amazed by how fresh and tangy it was and she couldn't get enough of it. The chicken kali mirch was entirely spot on, packed with awesome, rich peppery flavors that paired perfectly with the garlic naan, which came out hot, fresh, and beautifully fluffy. It's hard to find street food this good. Thanks, legends, for an amazing meal and we will definitely be coming back!”
“We have ordered multiple varieties, except malai chicken tikka everything tasted good. Highlight of the day was kadai paneer, it was too good. Must visit once if you are in ballarat”
